Traveling is one expression of the desire to cross boundaries.

The chief problem is, of course, whether the marching of the general spirit of things is heading consciously or sub- consciously toward an idea of extension of boundaries.

Boundaries are the lines we draw that mark off our autonomy and that of other people, that protect our privacy and that of others. Boundaries allow for intimate connection without dissolving or losing one’s sense of self.

Mindfulness helps us to set boundaries by revealing what makes us unhappy & what brings us peace.
