Inside every cynical person, there is a disappointed idealist.

I accept the Old Testament as more of an action movie: blood, car chases, evacuations, a lot of special effects, seas dividing, mass murder, adultery. The children of God are running amok, wayward. Maybe that’s why they’re so relatable.

I’m willing to go wherever with this because music is everything to me. This is my world and how I see it. My music speaks for me in a way that’s relatable and truthful.

The number one thing I want my videos to be is relatable.

Great movie stars like Audrey Hepburn and Elizabeth Taylor who were capable of saying so much without saying anything at all merely by carrying themselves in a classic fashion that’s timeless yet relatable.

We’ve all gone through some kind of betrayal, whether it’s with a boyfriend or a friend or a family member. That’s why this is so relatable to everybody because we all know what it feels like to feel that betrayal.
