I was supposed to be grateful because I one was one of the first African Americans coaching. I was supposed to sit there and say, ‘Oh, thank you Mr. White Man for giving me a job.’ God made me human and equal. Now I’m supposed to be grateful because you’re treating me equal and treating me as a human being? No.

The battle for equal rights and against discrimination is being turned into aggressive dogmatism bordering on the absurd, when the great authors of the past – such as Shakespeare, are no longer taught in schools and universities because they and their ideas are seen as backward. The classics are considered backward for their failure to understand the importance of the questions of race or gender.

In every house there are two people working, one outside and one inside, and how says the work done by housewives is less than the man doing outside. Why shouldn’t housewives get a salary too.

Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of sex.
