Be nice to people on your way up because you’ll meet them on your way down.

But You never reject a repentant and humble heart.

Jesus had a humble heart. If He abides in us, pride will never dominate our lives.

As you accept the responsibility to seek after truth with an open mind and a humble heart, you will become more tolerant of others, more open to listen, more prepared to understand, more inclined to build up instead of tearing down, and you will be more willing to go where God wants you to go.

A heart renewed–a loving heart–a penitent and humble heart–a heart broken and contrite, purified by love–that and only that is the rest of men. Spotlessness may do for angels, repentance unto life is the highest that belongs to man.

If thou desire the love of God and man, be humble, for the proud heart, as it loves none but itself, is beloved of none but itself. Humility enforces where neither virtue, nor strength, nor reason can prevail.
