Anyone who is outside this Church … is walking a path not to Heaven but to Hell. He is not getting closer to the home of eternal. life; on the contrary, he is hurrying to the torment of eternal death. And this is the case not only if he remains a pagan without Baptism, but even if he continue as a heretic after having been baptized.

Everything a baptized person does each day should be directly or indirectly related to the corporal and spiritual works of mercy.

However, ironically, I was baptized Presbyterian, and went to a Quaker school for twelve years

The grief and tears didn’t wash me away. They gave me my life back! They cleansed me, baptized me, hydrated the earth at my feet.
