The most important thing is to enjoy your life – to be happy – it’s all that matters.

Being happy doesn’t mean that everything is perfect. It means that you’ve decided to look beyond the imperfections.

Often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.

Three grand essentials to happiness in this life are something to do, something to love, and something to hope for.

It isn’t what you have, or who you are, or where you are, or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about.

The music is the message, the message is the music. So that’s my little ministry that the Big Man upstairs gave to me – a little ministry called love and happiness.

Perhaps it’s because it’s incredible to meet someone and say: with this person, I’m happy.

I have not stopped loving that which is sacred in this world.

Living in fear is what every hater, negative person, and the devil wants. Live a righteous life with God and nothing but positivity. You must forgive anyone who has done you dirty, and move on. Your personal life, career, and love life will be that much more amazing after. Life is too short to live it being empty inside, sad, angry, and defensive just to hide your pain. Let it all go and let love and happiness in. Put yourself out there all the way and don’t be fearful of losing love. If you don’t live life by fully enjoying it and opening your heart, your just not living.

But love brings much happiness – much more so than pining brings pain.

The end of their passion consists of loving uselessly at the moment when it is pointless.

It is not humiliating to be unhappy. Physical suffering is sometimes humiliating, but the suffering of being cannot be, it is life.

The loss of love is the loss of all rights, even though one had them all.

Those who have never known the deep intimacy and the intense companionship of happy mutual love have missed the best thing that life has to give.

Betrayal answers betrayal, the mask of love is answered by the disappearance of love.

Completely and totally, permanently and without hope of reward, just as an act of will, I will love somebody.

Joy, like love, is an impenetrable, God-given state of being. The distinctions between joy and happiness and love and affection are important ones under the notion that happiness is an ‘iffy’ emotion, a highly dependent feeling both aroused and destroyed by external conditions apart from God. And the distinction between love and affection is parallel to such.

The world was a terrible place, cruel, pitiless, dark as a bad dream. Not a good place to live. Only in books could you find pity, comfort, happiness – and love. Books loved anyone who opened them, they gave you security and friendship and didn’t ask anything in return; they never went away, never, not even when you treated them badly.

Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, or worn. It is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace & gratitude.
