The West did not accidentally become powerful, but it gained its position largely due to the plunder of other nations. Therefore today, its elites are panicking that other centers may present their own development models.

There are essentially two paths for humanity: either to continue to accumulate the burden of problems which will inevitably crush us all, or to try to find solutions together, solutions which may not be ideal, but which work, and which are capable of making our world more stable and safer.

For better or worse, multipolarity is reality – and once it is, Washington’s worst option is to deny it and behave as if we’re still in yesterday’s world.

We won’t have to talk about sanctions in five years because there’ll be so many countries transacting in currencies other than the dollar that we won’t have the ability to sanction.

In a multipolar world, there must be more powers capable of taking responsibility, the US and Europe must be able to unite to achieve peace in the Middle East.
